AMC Asbestos was founded in March 2011 by Shaun Hodgson and Paul Walker. Having previously worked together on an asbestos management project for a large betting business, the duo decided it was time to create an experienced asbestos consultancy focused on quality customer care.

With more than 80 years of combined industry knowledge, Shaun and Paul have built the UK and Ireland’s leading asbestos management company. Having conducted more than 31,000 asbestos surveys over the last 14 years, the team at AMC Asbestos are ensuring asbestos safety in commercial, industrial and residential properties.

Our services

AMC Asbestos offer a complete range of asbestos services, giving our clients peace of mind when it comes to the safety of their premises and their compliance with asbestos law.

The most common service we offer is asbestos surveying. The type of survey required depends on the property, the asbestos risk, and the planned use of the space. Common surveys include:

Re-inspection

Demolition

If required, we sample materials containing (or suspected to contain) asbestos to assess the type, quality and risk in our specialist laboratories. The results of this testing, as well as our findings from the site survey, are then presented in a clear, jargon-free report.

We will offer our recommendations for any further action to ensure the safety of the site. This information forms the basis of your asbestos management plan and can be used to update the asbestos register.

Where further actions are required, we can work with you to take any remedial actions. As we are independent of all asbestos removal companies, we can help you get the best service for your investment, should the materials need to be removed from the site.
